Overview

During the presentation I would like to give an update on the topic of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare. One section will focus on how AI can enhance clinical outcomes and workflows. For example: How can AI support radiologist during the reading and reporting process.

The other section will focus on how AI can support when in comes to the clinical decisions which needs to be taken and how patients and healthcare providers both can have a benefit. For example: How can AI support in finding the relevant information that is needed for taking the right decision?

Ivo is a Dutch biomedical engineer with the focus on radiology. After gathering clinical experiences in the field of radiology with a focus on computed tomography in Switzerland and Belgium He moved in 2006 to Germany. The first years at Siemens He was a clinical application trainer. Five years ago, He moved on to the digital department. One reason was that there is so much potential laying in all the (clinical) data that is available nowadays. With the help of Artificial Intelligence, we leverage the clinical outcomes which may bring benefits for patients and healthcare providers.
